בדיוק ישבתי היום לקפה בבוקר עם אמן שאוטוטו מסיים את לימודי התואר השני שלו באמנות ותוהה על המשך צעדיו בחיים ובעולם האמנות, ואז ליד ארטא פגשתי עוד חבר אמן בוגר מדרשה שאמר לי שגם לו נמאס והוא מסיים איזה קורס וטס מפה לחודשיים להעלם איפשהו - אז כן, לכאורה השדה יחסית פה קטן, האתגרים לא מעטים, התשלום בשקלים (לעיתים בודדים) וההרגשה (לפחות בהוצאות) שאתה כל הזמן בחו"ל רק שזה בא לידי ביטוי רק בהוצאות שלך - כי ההרגשה כל הזמן שאתה משלם בדולרים - אז מה עושים ? מסתבר שיש לא מעט הזדמנויות (מוזמנים להציץ בבסיס הידע שלנו "ברשומון") - צריך פשוט לחפש אותן, למצוא את הרלוונטיות ואז לנסות שוב ושוב לתפוס אותן תוך כדי התמדה, אורך רוח וסבלנות עד שזה בסוף מצליח... והנה, אם אתם עדיין יחסית צעירים (עד 28) ומחפשים לימודי המשך באנגליה מוזמנים להציץ בהזדמנות הזאת (ותודה ללירז שמשתפת) - כן אנגליה אולי השתגעה עם כל העניינים שם של היציאה מגוש היורו - אבל אולי תוכלו ללמוד שם ודי בזול...

Rhodes scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships in the academic world (for example, President Clinton was a Rhodes scholar). They are looking for any Israeli, up until 28 years old with a first degree to study at any university in the UK for 2-3 years (MA in any field or a second BA); all fees and living expenses are paid.
